RML Group tried to solve these problems with the VarEVolt battery. This battery has now become the most powerful in the world for electric cars. It is capable of delivering 6 kW of power per kg. VarEVolt is able to instantly deliver the entire energy reserve to generate ultra-high power when needed.
The greater the energy density, the smaller and lighter the battery can be. Lithium metal batteries are known to have a higher theoretical energy density than conventional lithium ion batteries and are considered a promising next-generation solution.
While other massive battery projects are still under construction, such as the 700 MW, 2,800 MWh Eraring battery, Waratah is the first to reach this advanced operational stage.
